Toronto based artist Noreen Mallory is a master at powerful and evocative semi-abstract imagery, derived from observation of the human figure and of organic land and water forms, especially those in Southern Ontario. She moves easily between painting, drawing and printmaking.

She graduated from the Ontario College of Art. In 1961 she settled in Montreal, where she pursued further studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts and Concordia University.

For many years a member of the Montreal print collective called Graphia, Noreen has shown her work in solo and group exhibitions at numerous galleries in Montreal and Toronto. She served for many years as a member of the teaching faculty at the respected fine arts school of Montreal’s Saidye Bronfman Center. Her work is represented in many private and corporate collections, including those of Alcan and The Transit Commission of Toronto.
