MINDFULNESS MEDITATION CLASSES
Class dates on Mondays:
Part 1: Jan. 15, 22 & 29
Part 2: Feb. 12 , 26 & Mar. 19

This class is for beginners or those who wish to renew their practice.
How much of our life is spent in a "dreamworld", our busy minds preoccupied with the past, worrying about the future or wishing the present were different than it is? We realize that this leads to inner tension and reduces our feelings of happiness and satisfaction in our life.
The practice of Mindfulness Meditation wakes us up to the moments of our lives with clarity, opening ourselves to who we are. We learn to live in harmony with ourselves and the world around us. In becoming more open to the moments of our lives we actually become better able to respond rather than react and our capacity for joy and happiness increases. As Henry David Thoreau said in WALDEN, "Only that day dawns to which we are awake."
In keeping with the tradition of these teachings, the courses are offered on a donation basis rather than a set fee.
